Jelani Jackson, Cheif Operating Officer
Jelani Jackson has 20 years of mentoring experience starting as a college freshman where he helped minority college students get acclimated to the rigors and challenges associated with cultural diversification. After college, Jelani continued mentoring youth that was committed to the Department of Youth and Rehabilitation services in the District of Columbia and Prince Georges County. Jelani has worked tirelessly grooming young men and women who have experienced the juvenile justice system. Jelani is one of the few mentors to enter the correctional facilities to work with jailed youths. Jelani has been recognized for his accomplishments in the field.
Jelani has also worked with dozen of Youths who were under the supervision of the Core Social Service division of the Districts Government. Jelani has been committed to providing opportunities to youths in the district and surrounding area while giving them the opportunity to give back to the community. Jelani attended St. Mary’s College where he graduated with a bachelor of economics was a member of the black student union and on the Dean list. Jelani is a business owner and entrepreneur that knows it’s his responsibility to share his experience, education, time and commitment with the youths who can benefit from those skills.
